INTERNATIONAL & SEMESTER AWAY EXTERNSHIPS

ABOUT

International and Semester Away Externships is a subcommittee of the AALS Externship Committee that is tasked with discussing best practices and supporting members who do international or remote placements or are thinking about doing so. We have monthly conference calls, using video technology, where one or more of us present on various topics. Past calls have covered things such reflection, distance learning, site visit/mid-term meetings, vetting international and remote placements, and building a syllabus for remote placements.

MONTHLY PHONE CALLS

Calls are typically held on the second Friday of every month at noon Eastern/9 am Pacific (with some variation, particularly in the summer). See the calendar here for the date of our next call.
